The lowest-effort week on the catalog, and deliberately so. One resort, one check-in, warm shallow sea and a kids' club, with two optional days out for families who want more than the pool. It is the right shape of trip for a first holiday with a toddler, for a year when nobody has the energy to plan, or for a family with a wide age spread where the hotel does the work.

Why the route is built this way
No hotel changes and no transfers beyond the airport — Paphos airport is fifteen minutes from the resort strip.
All-inclusive removes the daily cost decisions, which is most of what makes a resort week restful.
Two day trips are included as options rather than fixtures: a boat trip and an archaeological morning.
A car is suggested for two days only, which costs far less than a week of hire and parking.
Who this trip is not for
Families who want to see the country. This is a resort week with excursions attached, not a route. If you want the Troodos mountains and the wider island, hire a car for the full week and stay somewhere self-catering.
Good to know. Smaller boats suit children better than the large party cruises. Afternoon seas are choppier.

Multiple pools, usually including a children's pool with slides
Kids' club and evening entertainment
Family rooms and interconnecting doubles as standard

Fitting a family in
Family rooms sleeping four are the norm. Check whether a sofa bed counts towards the stated occupancy.
Watch out. All-inclusive packages differ sharply on à la carte restaurants, branded drinks and kids' club hours. Compare inclusions, not just the headline rate.

Compare inclusions, not headline rates
All-inclusive packages differ sharply on à la carte restaurants, branded drinks, water sports and kids' club hours. The gap between two similar-looking hotels is usually in those details.
A surprise for most European visitors. Roads are good and signposted in English, but the first hour takes concentration.

Common questions
Is all-inclusive worth it in Cyprus?
For a week spent mainly at the hotel, usually yes — eating out for four adds up quickly. If you plan to explore the island several days a week, half board typically works out better.
Is Cyprus good for toddlers?
It is one of the easier Mediterranean choices: shallow calm beaches, resorts built for children, a short flight and a warm sea from May onwards.
Do you need a car in Cyprus?
Not for a resort week. Hire one for the days you want the Akamas peninsula, the Troodos mountains or the archaeological sites, since bus services to those are limited.
