Privacy

The short version

Roamgrove is a static content site. There are no accounts, no login and no forms that ask for personal information. We do not collect names, addresses, payment details or travel documents, because there is nowhere on this site to enter them.

What the Trip Finder does with your answers

Nothing leaves your device. The filter runs entirely in your browser against data already downloaded with the page — there is no API call and no server involved, so your children’s age band and your travel month are never transmitted anywhere. They are held in the page’s URL so a filtered view can be shared or bookmarked, and that is all.

Analytics

If analytics is enabled we use Google Analytics to count page views, record which Trip Finder filters are used in aggregate, and count outbound affiliate clicks, FAQ opens and which parts of a guide get read. Click events carry only a category, a provider, the place on the page and the destination — never the link address, a hotel or activity name, or anything you typed. That tells us which guides are useful and which destinations to research next. We do not build profiles of individual visitors and we do not sell or share analytics data.

Affiliate links

Booking links go to third parties such as hotel and activity platforms. Those companies set their own cookies and run their own tracking once you arrive, under their own privacy policies — we have no control over and no access to that. Which company each link goes to is listed on the disclosure page.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies for its own functionality. If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics sets its own.

Children

This site is written for parents planning travel, not for children, and it is not directed at under-13s. We never ask for or publish information that could identify a child.
