About Roamgrove

A family travel catalog: destination guides, ready-made itineraries and a filter that matches trips to your children's ages and the time you have.

The problem we are solving

Planning a trip with children is a research problem disguised as a creative one. The question is never really “where shall we go” — it is whether a place works for a four-year-old and a nine-year-old at the same time, whether a week is enough, whether you will need a car, and what it will actually cost once you have fed four people for eight days.

Those answers exist, but they are scattered across forums, review sites and blog posts written about somebody else’s family, in a different season, with different children. Roamgrove collects them into one structured catalog where every destination answers the same questions in the same order — so two countries take five minutes to compare instead of five evenings.

What the site actually is

A catalog of 29 destinations and 12 ready-made itineraries, each one a structured record rather than an article. Every trip carries the same facets — recommended ages, length, pace, budget level, how much driving, which months — and those facets power the Trip Finder, the collection pages and the internal links. Add a trip and it appears everywhere it belongs, automatically.

What it is not

  • Not an AI trip generator. There is no chatbot and no model anywhere on this site. Every itinerary was written and reviewed before it was published. A generated plan that nobody has checked is worse than no plan, because it is confident about things that are wrong.
  • Not a personal travel blog. We do not claim to have visited every place we write about. Our guides are research-led and reviewed, and we say so plainly rather than borrowing credibility from stories that did not happen.
  • Not a booking agent. We do not take bookings, hold your money or act as an intermediary. Booking links go directly to the providers.

How it is paid for

Affiliate commission. When you book a hotel, a rental car, an attraction ticket or an eSIM through a link here, the price is the same for you and we may earn a commission. That revenue funds the research, and it never changes what we recommend — the recommendation and the link are decided separately, and the disclosure page explains exactly how.

There are no display ads, no sponsored placements sold to hotels, no paid-for rankings and no newsletter sequence trying to sell you something. If a page has a commercial link on it, that link is labelled.

Corrections are genuinely welcome — prices change, attractions close, and a guide that is wrong is worse than no guide. Email support@yalintech.com.
